And so it is with Robson Brown. Like Twain, we’ve had a setback or two but today finds us in the rudest of health. So, it’s time we re-emerged with renewed purpose, vigour and optimism. Reborn. Rejuvenated. Ready to take on whatever the world has to throw at us.

Here are just a few of our recent campaigns to prove that when it comes to compelling and convincing creativity we’re right on the button. And just for good measure we’ve also shared some of our Mission Group partners’ work.
Fresh was the UK’s first dedicated regional programme, set up in the North East of England, to tackle the worst rates of smoking related illness and death in the country.
Our latest campaign unashamedly tugs at the heartstrings as it tells smokers in the North East that one in every two long-term smokers die early from smoking related illnesses.
Our campaigns have helped reduce smoking rates by motivating smokers to quit, have turned off the tap to new smokers and are protecting families from tobacco related harm. We’ve won a number of awards along the way, including Roses nominations, national and regional CIPR awards and Gold awards at the World Tobacco Conference in Mumbai

With over 40 million holidays, city breaks and weekends away and 40 holiday brands to choose from Holiday Discount Centre can certainly claim to be the consumer’s friend.
The company’s aim is to be the holiday price comparison website, so we were delighted to be appointed just before Christmas 2013 to help them enhance their profile and increase traffic to their website.
Our simple and single-minded 10” commercial dramatises the huge choice of holidays that Holiday Discount Centre offers.
And the initial burst of TV advertising led to a 50% increase in enquiries, so it’s clear that our reputation for effective retail advertising is as valid now as it ever was.
Balance aim to inspire changes to the way people in the North East think about and drink alcohol.
Our regional marketing campaigns have been varied from encouraging personal behaviour change through to urging the public to support government petitions that will influence future laws with regard to alcohol availability, affordability and promotion.More from Balance
With a market capitalisation of over £1.5bn, Bellway is the country’s fourth largest house builder selling over 5,000 homes a year. We have worked together for over 20 years. It’s a complex business, consisting of 13 regional divisions with close to 50 individual points of contact to be made every week. We are responsible for co-ordinating all marketing activity across the country to ensure consistency of look, feel and message.

NewcastleGateshead Initiative is the destination management and marketing agency for the region that it’s named after. Marketing activity is geared towards promoting the area as a world class tourism destination and it’s estimated that visitors contribute £1.23bn to the local economy annually.
Our work has been varied including logo design for the EAT festival to national press advertising and literature design.

NCFE designs, develops and certificates a diverse range of nationally recognised vocational qualifications and awards. Last year over 400,000 learners from over 2,000 colleges, schools and training organisations chose NCFE as their Awarding Organisation.

As part of ITREZ, Scotland’s renewables energy zone, Scottish Enterprise has developed a unique Grade A office in the heart of Glasgow. The building facilitates co-location of businesses with other public, private and academic partners focussed on maximising opportunities within the renewables industry.
We were appointed to provide all brand development and communication materails including name, identity, cgi’s, website, presentations and launch literature. The building will be marketed internationally.

From the very outset, von Essen Hotels wanted the first hotel in its new metropolitan set to be not just different, but better. Situated adjacent to London’s Vertical Gateway, The London Heliport, this unique location provided an opportunity to name and create the brand.

Husqvarna is the global leader in professional outdoor power equipment with over 300 years experience in the manufacture of tough tools such as chainsaws, tractors, lawnmowers, cultivators and trimmers.
We have created three campaigns for the UK including national press brand awareness activity, promotions and dealer support.
The product has a distinctive look defined by its colour so the creative work made the product the hero of our ads.
Sealy Posturepedic is the world’s biggest bed manufacturer and a client of ours for over 20 years. Sleep is a generic territory and a distress purchase. There is little credible difference between brands.
Our most recent work links the brand to the creative territory of “Deeper Sleep”, not just ordinary sleep, highlighting the fact that a Sealy bed is as important as exercise and eating well.
In a previous campaign we created a point of difference by tasking a doctor of engineering to test our beds against the competition. He found that one of Sealy’s double beds has the same effective sleeping area as competitors’ king-size beds. We creatively branded this greater sleeping area as ‘Edge-to-Edge’ giving us a scientifically proven USP.More from Sealy

The brand had a strong heritage in trade and was well liked by retailers yet the vast majority of consumers hadn’t heard of the brand or sampled its benefits. Given our previous success with challenger brands Boost Drinks tasked us to develop a brand positioning strategy and the brand’s first integrated consumer campaign. So we invented the Boost-ism.

In 2011 Highland Spring waded into a water fight. They held the position of the No.2 bottled water brand in the UK, but they were holding out for the No.1 spot. When you can’t beat your competitors’ marketing spend, you have to be creative with your creative. It needed to out-sparkle the competition.
Story created the positioning of ‘Full of the Joys of Highland Spring’ and unleashed a bottle-playing mole on TV, in the press and online to help spread the joy. By 2013, Highland Spring was the UK’s No.1 bottled water.
